Will I need to show ID?
Yes, you’ll need:
✔️ Your driving licence (must match your home address)
✔️ If your licence doesn’t show your current address or you don’t have it with you, we'll need a utility bill or bank statement from the last 90 days, along with a form of photo ID
✔️ If you paid in full, you'll need to show your payment card
Can someone else accept delivery or collect for me?
❌ No. For security reasons, only you can accept delivery or collect your car.

Will I be shown how the car works?
✅ Yes! On delivery or collection, a handover specialist will walk you through the car’s features and controls.
Feel free to ask any questions — we want you to feel confident and comfortable before driving your car.
Can I test drive my car when it’s delivered?
We don’t currently offer test drives at delivery but you'll get 14 days to make sure you love it!
How much fuel will be in my car?
We’ll make sure you’re ready to hit the road from the moment you get in.
✔️ Petrol, diesel and hybrid cars: We’ll make sure the fuel light is off so you can get going
✔️ Electric cars: At least 30 miles of charge to get you on your way
What happens if my delivery or collection is delayed?
We aim to keep everything on time, but delays can occasionally happen.
If either your delivery or collection is delayed, we'll be in touch to discuss next steps and rearrange as soon as possible.
What if I’m not happy with my car?
All cinch cars are thoroughly checked in line with our quality standards.
If you do spot something unexpected:
✔️ Let your cinch handover specialist know straight away
✔️ To raise it to our customer service team, head to ‘My Profile’ and select Report a problem
If you’re not happy at delivery or collection, you don’t have to accept the car. We’ll take it back and get in touch to discuss next steps.
