What is GAP insurance?
GAP insurance (Guaranteed Asset Protection) helps protect you financially if your car is written off or stolen.
Your car insurance pays out the car’s market value at the time of the incident, which might be less than you originally paid because of depreciation.
GAP insurance covers the difference between:
✔️ What you originally paid for the car or
✔️ Your outstanding finance balance (whichever is higher)
This means you won’t be left out of pocket.
Do you offer GAP insurance?

How long do I have to buy GAP insurance?

What is the moratorium period for GAP insurance?
There must be a short waiting period between receiving your GAP insurance information and being able to buy the policy. This is to ensure you have enough time to review the details before going ahead.
Here’s how it works:
✔️ Day 1: You receive your quote and policy information
✔️ Days 2-3: You review the information (you can’t buy yet)
✔️ Day 4: You’re able to buy your GAP policy
