Yes - Once you’ve handed over your car, you’ll need to let the DVLA know that you’ve sold your car to cinch. This will remove the vehicle from your name and automatically cancel the road tax. The DVLA will then contact you about any refund you’re owed.
To cancel your insurance, you’ll need to get in touch with your insurer directly.
📌 Important: Please don’t cancel your road tax or insurance before the handover. Both must remain valid until the vehicle is handed over, as you'll need them to continue driving legally up to that point.
